HopFlyt and RYG Light


Rob Winston and son, Neil, entrepreneur-owners of HopFlyt, hold a prototype model of their electric Vertical Takeoff & Landing (eVTOL) aircraft that was pitched and on display during a recent Crab Pot Pitch Contest at the Calvert Marine Museum in Solomons. Lowell Cade, inventor of the RYG Light, a portable, handheld emergency traffic control device which provides visual communication to motorists, took first place in the event. Both of these innovative Calvert County-based companies are working hard in Southern Maryland’s tech hub to accelerate their business models and achieve market success.
